PHS Heritage Trail to Chemor

Raya in Chemor

This Raya, we go to Kampong Mandailing, Chemor to enjoy a traditional lunch and view a collection of artifacts in a historical environment.

Our trail begins with the Tambun Rock Paintings and the Tung Wah cave temple, where we view the Kinta Valley at vantage points. After lunch, we take a parting look at the 1896 Chemor Railway Station (soon to be demolished) and a guided tour of the Hospital Bahagia, Tanjong Rambutan, which celebrates its centennial this year.

A very old tekat(traditional embroidery) you will see on this trail.
